Procurement Business Analyst

Our Client is a State owned corporation and they are looking to expand their newly formed Procurement team. They are looking to recruit a Procurement Business Analyst to provide contract and support services to both the Operations and Maintenance divisions. These divisions have recently undergone a major restructure and therefore this is an exiting time to be joining this Public Sector orgainsation.

The Procurement Business Analyst will be tasked with analysing spend patterns and identify opportunities for improvement, monitoring performance for contracts, managing Contract Health Checks & Audits systems/process to ensure contracts are meeting all probity requirements and participate in market analysis & industry benchmarking and opportunity development analysis.


Experience, Knowledge and Skills: -

    * Understanding of compliance, probity and audit requirements in relation to commercial contracts
    * Strong Analytical Skills from a procurement or contract management environment
    * Ability to present complex and varied data in a straightforward manner, above average Excel skills.
    * Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with Stakeholders at all levels, strong influencing skills are essential.
    * Demonstrated experience in ensuring a strong audit methodology and continuous improvement ethos
    * Demonstrated experience of partnering across the business and with Industry and building strong working relationships
    * Significant career experience and/or relevant tertiary qualification.
    * The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following: the formulation and negotiation of commercial contracts, contract management and dispute resolution, proven experience in financial management of contracts and in tender evaluation.
